A Course in Miracles:  Lesson 306

The “Second Coming” is a shift in perception from fear to the utter dissolution of fear.  The dissolution of fear IS freedom.  What a gift!

Imagine being able to be anywhere you want at any time you want.  Imagine being able to change your body, its shape, its size, its color, or its gender.  Imagine being able to communicate with anyone, at any time, in any place.   Imagine having the answer to every question you can dream of asking. Imagine knowing you are never alone.  Such freedom! What would you do with it?  Who would you decide to be and where would you decide to go?  What a gift!

“The gift of Christ is all I seek today.”

Buried deep inside each of us lies an ancient memory of freedom on a scale so vast it is beyond our current imagination, but we can feel the truth of it.  Indeed, if we can imagine it in our mind, it has to be possible.  Mind is the creator of form.

Each of us yearns for the freedom to imagine because freedom is our natural state.  And here’s the kicker – the source of freedom and the power of creation is Love.  Love holds the power of creation because only It can draw upon the unlimited potential of the universe.  Love has access to everything because It perceives itself AS everything.

The gift of Christ is this – true perception of our Oneness with each other and All That Is.  The gift of Christ is freedom from fear.  The gift of Christ is our ability to remember the ancient memory, which is the call of freedom to create with Love.

The gift of Christ today is the release from being satisfied with small things.  We ARE the wind, we ARE the stone, and we ARE the man on street.  There is no end to what we are, or can be, because there is nothing in God’s creation to limit us at all.

But remember, you do not know what you do not know.  So when you imagine yourself the king of the world remember, you cannot do so and be separate from anything else.  You cannot be king of the world and not be IN LOVE with all that is around you.  And when you are IN LOVE with all that is around you, your perception of everything will change, and so your choices will change, and your imaginings will evolve, as you know yourself without fear.

What I value, I make real.   The gift of Christ is all I seek today.  What is the “best” you can imagine?
